Jamie + Kevin: Olbrich Gardens Wedding

The morning started out cloudy and gloomy, but by the afternoon, the clouds broke and the sky cleared. So what began as a somber start to the day, turned into a beautiful sunny afternoon; perfect weather for an outdoor garden wedding!

Olbrich Gardens is a popular venue for weddings on Madison’s East Side. Maybe it’s the lush 16 acres of greenery, the beautiful themed gardens, the indoor atrium- the Bolz Conservatory, or even the one-of-a-kind Thai Pavilion that makes this a hot spot for tying the knot. Regardless, after shooting a wedding here for the first time, I have to say, it was absolutely beautiful! I can’t imagine why anyone would not want to have their wedding here…

Is was here, where Jamie and Kevin tied the knot, and their wedding day was as beautiful as the venue itself. Additional small touches, like the string quartet, who played playing under an arched trellis prior to the ceremony, or the ceremony programs, which doubled as fans, to the Travelling Photo Booth at the reception, all made for a very memorable day. Here are some finished images from their fantastic day!
